The 8th Annual Clarkson Fire & Rescue Benefit Truck & Tractor Pull will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at the Grayson County Fairgrounds in Leitchfield. 👑 Mark your calendars and join us for the First Annual Clarkson Springfest Pageant on Saturday, April 18, 2026! Registration begins at 9:00 am on the day of the pageant with age groups for everyone! All proceeds will go back into the Clarkson City Park! The cost is $45, which includes side awards! The pageant will be held at the William Walker Building at the Park. Spring Clean-Up for residents inside the Clarkson City limits will be Monday-Thursday, April 6th-9th. Larger items, such as appliances, mattresses, and furniture will be picked up at that time. We will pick up what we can on the regular garbage routes on each of those days. What we cannot get at the time, we will drive around at various times on each day of the cleanup with a trailer and pick up. The deadline to have your items out for pickup will be 8:00 am on Friday, April

The Red Cross will host a Blood Drive at the Clarkson Community on Tuesday, March 3rd from Noon until 5:00 pm. Donate blood and help save a life!

The Fourth Annual Clarkson Park Springfest will be on Saturday, May 9th! There will be craft booths , food trucks , inflatables , music , a photo booth , and much more!! We still have room for craft booths and food trucks!! Craft booth registrations are $50 and food truck registrations are $100. Grayson County Youth Soccer Sign-ups will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 1:00-2:30 pm at the William Walker Building at Clarkson City Park. You can also sign-up at Clarkson City Hall anytime during regular business hours Monday-Friday between February 9th and April 1st. Forms can also be printed off of the Parks & Recreation page of the City's website and returned to Clarkson City Hall.

Clarkson Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball Sign-ups will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 1:00-2:30 pm at the William Walker Building at Clarkson City Hall. You can also sign-up at Clarkson City Hall anytime during regular business hours Monday-Friday starting February 9th. The deadline to sign up for baseball is March 7th. Trick-or-Treating in the City of Clarkson will be from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, October 31st. The Mayor will be handing out candy on the front porch of City Hall. Firemen will also be handing out candy at the Clarkson Fire Department.
