September is Honey Month in Kentucky. Once again this year, the Governor’s proclamation mentions the the City of Clarkson and the Honeyfest! We appreciate the local shoutout in the annual Honey Month proclamation, which has been issued for about the last decade through three different gubernatorial administrations. We have been proud to support the Honeyfest as it has grown to become the “Official State Honey Festival of Kentucky.” A framed copy of this year’s Honey Month proclamation is proudly on display on our ”Honeyfest Wall” at the Clarkson City Hall & Community Center.
